Gordon Mehler (www.mehlerlaw.com) has more than 20 years of experience in the criminal justice system.  He is a seasoned former federal prosecutor, a former Deputy Assistant U.S. Attorney General in the Clinton Administration, and the lead author of a widely-used treatise on federal criminal practice.  His law practice involves white-collar defense, regulatory enforcement, and civil litigation.  Among his numerous successes, Mr. Mehler was a member of the legal team that overturned the murder conviction of David Lemus and obtained his release from prison in 2005 – after Mr. Lemus had been wrongfully convicted in the “Palladium murder” case and spent 14 years in jail.
