Biography

Nathaniel Burney is a skilled trial attorney with an unusually broad background.  A former prosecutor with the prestigious Rackets Bureau of the Manhattan DA's office, he has been lead counsel in a number of high-profile cases, ranging from mafia and political corruption prosecutions to consumer class actions.  He has successfully defended individuals involved in recent Wall Street scandals, insurance fraud investigations and antitrust prosecutions.

He is a published authority on a variety of topics, and is a sought-after lecturer.  Several news organizations have relied on Mr. Burney for his legal knowledge, including the Wall Street Journal, CNN, NBC and others.

Mr. Burney is active in the community, volunteering his time with charitable and political organizations in New York.  He also volunteers regularly as an arbitrator with the civil court in Manhattan.
