Dan is a commercial litigator who has represented companies and individuals ranging from Fortune 500 companies to startups, from directors and executives to employees. He has broad experience in both state and federal court in complex commercial litigation, contract disputes, business torts, financial services litigation, insolvency, employment, and real estate litigation.

Dan has counseled and represented clients in a wide range of industries, including investment firms and banks, commercial borrowers, real estate investors and operators, pharmaceutical companies, public utilities, manufacturers, and consumer and luxury goods brands.

Dan has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” in Business Litigation from 2020-2025. He previously worked in the Commercial Litigation group at Arnold & Porter and in the Business Litigation group at Morrison Cohen. At the start of his career, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Gary R. Brown in the Eastern District of New York. Dan is a cum laude graduate of the St. John’s University School of Law, where he served as an Editor of the St. John’s Law Review.

⦁ Regional Center in EB-5 litigation related to claims of breach of investment agreements with investors*
⦁ Commercial real estate seller in multi-million-dollar breach of contract dispute over sale of the property, related to JC Penney bankruptcy proceedings.*
⦁ Group of term lenders in In re Hertz Corp., regarding sale of assets securing loans.*
⦁ Controlling class of noteholders in In re Zohar III Corp., a CLO bankruptcy and related litigation over ownership and control of the CLO and its assets.*
⦁ Fortune 50 company in MDL and related litigation regarding harm from products sold by acquired subsidiary.*
⦁ Energy company in a multi-party lawsuit asserting claims of negligence, gross negligence, contribution, and claims under CERCLA, the OPA, and the N.J. Spill Act stemming from cross-state assets*
