Dan focuses on complex commercial litigation, including disputes over contracts, real estate and financial services litigation, “business divorces,” executive compensation, and partnership and governance disputes. His clients include investment funds and banks, commercial borrowers and guarantors, real estate investors and operators, software companies, real estate brokers, and manufacturers.

Dan began his career as a law clerk to the Honorable Gary R. Brown in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. He has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” in Business Litigation every year from 2020 to 2026. He serves on the New York City Bar Association’s Litigation Committee, where he is the Chair of the Opinion & Comment Subcommittee, which provides analysis and advice to the Committee on proposed changes to rules and laws that affect the courts and litigants. He is a proud member of the Hague Convention Attorney Network, a group of attorneys available to assist the parents of children who have been abducted across international lines. Dan graduated cum laude from St. John’s University School of Law, where he served as an Editor of the St. John’s Law Review.
